Small Scale oil paintings

Here are a couple mini paintings I did last week in preparation for a miniature show at the Frame & I Art Gallery starting mid November. These two paintings are both done in oil with a palette knife, they measure 5x7 inches. It isn't necessarily easier to paint small, the same elements that make a good painting still apply. I have a few more paintings this size still drying.
