We borrowed a few (actually four) kids for a couple days to allow Dean & Keilah to relax with their new baby, Elaina. To entertain the kids, we started the morning with a outdoor painting session, then to Granite Basin Lake for a hike and picnic, played at a park, stopped at a couple artists studios who are part of the Mountain Artist Guild Studio Tour, and then back home to make cards and decorate shirts. The day isn't over yet and the kids still aren't worn out, although Donovan took a good two hour nap. I love seeing what kids come up with in artistic projects; they have no caution and really come up with amazing artworks. I think all kids are artists, it's when we grow up and decide we can't draw anymore or someone tells us there is no future in art or any other negative comments. What a fun day you guys had!! The kids are going to want to come to your house next weekend too! lol. I LOVE the pictures (of course). Thanks for taking such good care of them! And I'm going to have to get some copies of pics from you. They're great!
