The first evening in the Grand Canyon was peaceful as the light softened and shadows delineated the ridges of canyon formations. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the evening. I carried my tripod all this way, I needed to put it to use.

Thank you Russ for sharing your experience through descriptive words and more descriptive amazing pictures! I am already dreaming of the next time I can hike the canyon. However, it is not easy to say while I sit in Northern Europe! Arizona is a beautiful place.
